How can I edit my account information?

Visit "My HOME", your options include: View Profile | Change Password | Saved Records, you can to edit or update your account information and user profile in this section.

I have forgotten my password—how can I retrieve it?

From any “http://jaehr.muk.ac.ir/” page, click on the “Log in” link in the upper right corner of your screen. Then click on the “forgot password” link in the sign-in box that appears. A reset password link will be sent to the e-mail address associated with your account with information for resetting your password. By clicking on the reset password link, a new password will be generated automatically and sent to your email address.

I can't remember the e-mail address on my account.

Can I make changes to my manuscript at proof stage?

Although you will receive proofs from the editorial office before your manuscript is published, the purpose of these proofs is to pick up inaccuracies or typographical errors. You will not be able to make editorial changes (e.g. changes in wording, adding references, etc.) at this stage. Indeed, it is essential that you ensure that the version you submit for publication in JAEHR is your final version.

What are the publication charges for an article in JAEHR?

JAEHR supports the Open Access initiative. Abstracts and full texts (PDF format) of all articles published by JAEHR are freely accessible to everyone immediately upon publication. JAEHR also does not charge any submission or publication fees.

The system doesn’t recognize the email address I enter to retrieve my password.

This is the email you used when you registered for JAEHR account. If you no longer have access to the email used to create your account, please contact our editorial office (jaehr@muk.ac.ir) to change your email address and update your password.

How can I report a technical problem with the site?

Please contact editorial office (jaehr@muk.ac.ir) to report any problems. It is effective if you can provide the URL you are accessing, the browser and operating system you are using, and any error messages you encounter.

Which web browsers does www.jaehr.muk.ac.ir site support?

JAEHR supports a variety of browsers, including Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome. If you have questions about whether the version you are using is supported, please contact us via jaehr@muk.ac.ir.

I’m having problems viewing some content on www.jaehr.muk.ac.ir; Do I need specific programs or plug-ins?

No. You don’t need to install any special program or plug-in. JAEHR is an open access journal. You can get access to its articles from anywhere in the world without any charge.

How can I opt in or opt out of receiving e-mails from JAEHR?

You may opt in or out of e-mails by signing in to your "My HOME" account and changing your sign for receiving news, promotions and special offers about our products and services.

What Endnote style does JAEHR use?

JAEHR uses its own style of note formatting. Additional information on our note style, along with examples, is available on our "Guide for Authors" section.

Does JAEHR have word limits?

Yes. The word limit according to the "Guide for Authors", it differs based on the article type as specified in below:
- Review Article: up to 6000 words with a structured abstract
- Original Article: less than 3000 words, with a maximum of 30 references
- Short Communication: up to 1500 words
- Book review: up to 1000 words

How do I debrief about the status of a manuscript I submitted?

You may check on the status of your submitted manuscripts by visiting our online manuscript at " Manuscript Information " you should visit " Current Status".

How often does the journal get published?

The JAEHR is published quarterly.

Once I have submitted a manuscript, how long can I expect to wait before I hear from the journal, and how much time passes between acceptance and publication of a manuscript?

Submissions are acknowledged promptly by e-mail. All manuscripts submitted to the JAEHR are subject to peer-review process. Authors can expect to wait about two months from the date of submission until receiving the journal’s decision. For manuscripts that are selected for revision, the length of time between the revision request and publication will vary widely (from one weeks to one months) depending on various factors, including the extent of revision required, the need for additional review and revision.
